I wanted to do a piece of work composed of either the sun or the moon or both. After considering various other arrangements, I finally settled on the Yin and Yang posture.
I first thought of using a crescent for the moon but the Wolf Moon blog post on flickr made me do the full moon instead.

The Taj Mahal - Popped up - WIP
I've started this months ago. Finished sketches and cuts but never felt like folding it up. For some reason I've felt like working on it again.

Similar to my earlier twisted colors; I happened to find that the structure is collapsible. The first thing that popped into my head was... hmm... A pop-up...

Square twist tessellation-Kirigamified!!
Similar to this one, now the I attacked the square twist tess too...
The beauty is that even though this is just a kirigamic representation, the layering and alignment is still the same as the original origami square twist
